ABOUT
Pioneer was born in 2014 when Reinhard and Melissa Smit got married on the beach in Paternoster where they fell in love with not only each other - but with love itself, and story telling of the people who do. Today - almost 10 year, 1000 weddings and 5 kids later - we still live for telling the stories we document. Reinhard is a self taught film maker who believes that every film needs to be a beautiful cinematic masterpiece that will remain timeliness, and Melissa studied photography and comes from the old school film era - where every image has to count.
As a husband and wife team, we bring synergy to your wedding day as we've perfected working together effortlessly.
Well, mostly... but our light banter will add a beautiful feeling of having long lost friends at your wedding.
In addition, we dont just offer you photo and film - we do a complete wedding day timeline setup together, that will plan out your entire day - not only for optimal photo and film results, but also for everything else from makeup to dinner time.
We dont limit your wedding day booking time with us. The time required for your wedding is calculated based on your individual needs - but the average is 11am to 9pm. We also dont limit the amount of wedding day images we supply - we give you all the good ones with around 800 - 1000 being the standard.
ABOUT
Your beautiful wedding photos will be delivered to you in a stunning online gallery that will remain active for an entire year following your special day. This allows you ample time to revisit those cherished moments and share them with your friends and family creating lasting memories together. You have the convenience of downloading your images in both high and low resolution, ensuring you can use them for various purposes, whether for social media sharing or printing.
Moreover, your gallery includes an online store where you can explore a variety of products. From elegant canvas prints to beautifully crafted photo albums and unique memory boxes, you can easily order keepsakes that will allow you to treasure your wedding day for years to come.
If you are interested in booking us, first, we are excited to meet with you over a cup or a glass! Connecting with you is one of the most important parts of this process - and we can answer any questions you might have.
Then, our online booking system secures all your documentation with us throughout the process and, when you select and confirm the booking that most speaks to your requirements, an invoice and agreement will be available on your booking platform.
You will receive a confirmation email with links - first to reserve your pre-wedding aka engagement session and second for an online timeline meeting with us. We will send you a complete wedding day breakdown suggestion and we finetune it according to your wishes during the meeting.
Speaking of the engagement session - go ahead and gather a few images that resonates with you as a couple - or leave the creativity up to us.
We will provide you with an array of possible locations based on your mood vision for this first session with us or select a spot that speaks to you. During the session we guide you through easy and comfortable posing that will not only connect you with us, but re-connect you with your partner.
